Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Ankeny Hawks (Ankeny, IA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lynx confront the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars (Ankeny, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 4. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 1-1 non-league Valley (West Des Moines, IA).
With the loss, Ankeny drops to 10-2 on the season.
