Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA), 11-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 3-12 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA) to battle the Black Raiders in a test on Tuesday, June 6. The Black Raiders come into the test with a record of 2-0. Sioux City East won 9-4 in their recent league test against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA)
With the defeat, St. Albert falls to 0-2 on the season. The Falcons host Clarinda (Clarinda, IA) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, June 5. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 0-0.
