The Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) baseball got by the host James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA), 2-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Fighting Hornets now own a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sherando for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 4. Orange County will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 15-7.
With the defeat, James Wood drops to 19-5 on the year.
