Iowa High School Baseball - Kennedy holds off Western Dubuque

In Monday's league game, the visiting Kennedy Cougars baseball team scored a close 8-4 win over the Western Dubuque Bobcats.
The Cougars (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Valley (West Des Moines, IA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Valley was overwhelmed by Johnston (Johnston, IA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bobcats play the Independence Mustangs (Independence, IA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, June 4. Western Dubuque will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 5-3 record after their 11-6 league loss to Solon (Solon, IA).
