The St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA) baseball got by the host Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders (Oak Bluffs, MA), 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 19-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apponequet Regional for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 4. St. Mary's will clash with a Lakers team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Taconic (Pittsfield, MA). The Lakers record now stands at 11-11.
With the defeat, Martha's Vineyard Regional drops to 11-11 on the year.
