Next, the Blue Devils meet the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic test, on Thursday, June 5. Davenport Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 5-0 record after their 6-3 league win over North Scott (Eldridge, IA).

The River Kings (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Marquette (Bellevue, IA). The Defenders go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Marquette toppled Starmont (Arlington, IA), 7-1, in a non-league test.
