The crowd at Monday's league bout between the West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) and the visiting North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA), observed West Fork's softball team notch a victory over North Butler by a tally of 10-2.

The Warhawks (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA). The Knights go into the Top of Iowa-East bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Newman Catholic gained a win over AGWSR (Ackley, IA), 12-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA) in a Top of Iowa-East bout, on Tuesday, June 3. North Butler will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 5-3 league loss to Central Springs (Manly, IA).
