Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson for a challenge on Thursday, June 22. Le Mars will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 16-4 league loss to Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-16.

With the loss, Lincoln falls to 4-18 on the campaign. The Lynx travel to Harlan (Harlan, IA) to meet the Cyclones in a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 21. The Cyclones go into the battle with a record of 1-18. Harlan lost 11-1 in their recent league battle against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
