In Thursday's non-league test, the Northeast Rebels (Goose Lake, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA), by a tally of 10-0.
Next, the Rebels meet the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs (Dallas Center, IA) in a non-league test, on Friday, June 21. Northeast will attempt to advance on its 13-2 season record.
The Panthers (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA). The Cardinals go into the River Valley - South test with a 7-14 record. In their last test, Maquoketa toppled Camanche (Camanche, IA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
