The Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars baseball team scored 21 runs and held the host North Fayette Valley to 1 in the Cougars non-league win on Friday.

The Cougars now hold a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Jesup for a North Iowa Cedar - East test on Monday, June 23. Sumner-Fredericksburg will play a J-Hawks team coming off a 11-8 league loss to Union (La Porte City, IA). The J-Hawks record now stands at 4-12.

With the defeat, North Fayette Valley drops to 1-20 on the year. The host Kee (Lansing, IA) to play the Kee Hawks in a Upper Iowa test on Monday, June 23. The Kee Hawks go into the test with a record of 22-5. Kee won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Osage (Osage, IA)
