In Friday's non-league test, the Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA), by a tally of 8-2.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, June 21. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 3-14 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 3-12 record after their 18-5 non-league win over Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA).

The (11-12) will now prepare for their test against Kee (Lansing, IA). The Kee Hawks go into the Upper Iowa test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Kee was routed by Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA), 13-3, in a non-league test.
