Next, the Go-Hawks play the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) in a Northeast Iowa challenge, on Monday, June 23. Waverly-Shell Rock will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Mason City (Mason City, IA).

The Warriors (10-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Elkader, IA). The Warriors enter the Upper Iowa challenge with a 0-16 record. In their last challenge, Central was routed by Starmont (Arlington, IA), 14-2, in a non-league challenge.
