The Lisbon Lions softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings to 1 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Lisbon improves its record to 23-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Assumption (Davenport, IA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, June 23. The Knights come into the game with a record of 23-4. Assumption won 5-0 in their recent non-league game against Burlington (Burlington, IA)

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, June 26. Edgewood-Colesburg will attempt to improve on its 18-13 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 1-28 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA).
