West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove Falcons (Ida Grove, IA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 19-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to River Valley for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 22. West Monona will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 14-11.

With the loss, Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Falcons host Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA) to battle the Braves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 27. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 2-16. Cherokee Washington lost 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA)
