The Ridge View Raptors routed the visiting Westwood Rebels softball squad by a count of 12-5 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Raptors (14-11) will now prepare for their battle against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA). The go into the non-league battle with a 16-8 record. In their last battle, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute nudged Woodbury Central (Moville, IA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Rebels now sport a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Missouri Valley for a non-league battle on Monday, June 26. Westwood will meet a Big Reds squad coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Treynor (Treynor, IA). The Big Reds record now stands at 23-3.
