The Cougars (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Independence (Independence, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 15-19 record. In their last bout, Independence was nipped by Marion (Marion, IA), 15-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the clash with the Clinton River Kings (Clinton, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic bout, on Monday, June 24. Central DeWitt will attempt to advance on its 6-21 season record. The River Kings come into the outing with a 2-23 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Camanche (Camanche, IA).
