Spectators at Friday's league match between the Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs (Orient, IA) and the visiting Mormon Trail Saints (Garden Grove, IA), witnessed Orient-Macksburg's softball squad prevail over Mormon Trail by a count of 13-3.

The Bulldogs now sport a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Melcher-Dallas for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 25. Orient-Macksburg will face a Saints squad coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Saints record now stands at 5-16.

With the loss, Mormon Trail moves to 2-13 on the season. The Saints host Central Decatur (Leon, IA) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Monday, June 24. The Cardinals go into the match with a record of 4-12. Central Decatur lost 14-1 in their recent non-league match against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA)
