The crowd at Friday's league match between the Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA) and the host South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), saw Southeast Valley's softball squad achieve victory over South Central Calhoun by a count of 19-3.

The Jaguars now sport a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Hamilton for a non-league match on Saturday, June 22. Southeast Valley will face a Hawks squad coming off a 15-4 league win over Nevada (Nevada, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, South Central Calhoun falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Titans host Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA) to face the E'Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, June 24. The E'Hawks enter the match with a record of 5-12. Emmetsburg lost 11-4 in their recent non-league match against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA)
