In Thursday's non-league game, the host Knoxville Panthers baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes.
The Panthers (23-1) will now prepare for their game against Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 2-13 record.
The Big Reds/Redettes (11-10) will now prepare for their game against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets go into the non-league game with a 8-16 record.
