West Burlington Falcons (West Burlington, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they host New London for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 23. West Burlington will face a Tigers squad coming off a 21-4 non-league loss to Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-17.

With the loss, Mediapolis falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Central Lee (Donnellson, IA) to face the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 23. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 14-7. Central Lee won 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Danville (Danville, IA)
