The Woodbury Central Wildcats (Moville, IA) baseball trounced the visiting West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA), 12-3 in Monday's league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Ridge View for a Western Valley challenge on Tuesday, June 24. Woodbury Central will clash with a Raptors team coming off a 11-8 league win over Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA). The Raptors record now stands at 9-4.
With the defeat, West Monona drops to 2-12 on the year. The Spartans host AHSTW (Avoca, IA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 30. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 3-12.
