The Central Springs Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Nashua-Plainfield Huskies to 0 in the Panthers league win on Monday.

The Panthers now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newman Catholic for a Top of Iowa-East battle on Tuesday, June 24. Central Springs will confront a Knights team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Madrid (Madrid, IA). The Knights record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Nashua-Plainfield moves to 2-14 on the season. The Huskies travel to Rockford (Rockford, IA) to confront the Warriors in a Top of Iowa-East battle on Tuesday, June 24. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 7-10. Rockford won 10-2 in their recent non-league battle against Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA)
