Earlham Cardinals (Earlham, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 24-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Van Meter for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 26. Earlham will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-8 non-league win over Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 23-4.

With the loss, Nodaway Valley moves to 5-11 on the season. The Wolverines host Grand View Christian (Des Moines, IA) to meet the Thunder in a non-league match on Wednesday, June 28. The Thunder go into the match with a record of 10-5.
