The Southwest Valley (Corning, IA) softball routed the visiting Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA), 16-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The (10-9) will now prepare for their bout against Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 9-16 record.
The Trojans now possess a 3-16 record. They play next when they host West Harrison for a non-league bout on Tuesday, June 27. Tri-Center will confront a Hawkeyes squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA). The Hawkeyes record now stands at 0-16.
