In Monday's non-league game, the host Wahlert Golden Eagles baseball team scored a close 7-2 win over the Waterloo West Wahawks.
The Golden Eagles (18-0) will now prepare for their game against Linn-Mar (Marion, IA). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 22-7 record.
