The Clarinda Cardinals softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Kuemper Knights to 3 in the Cardinals non-league win on Monday.

The Cardinals now sport a 24-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Albert for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 25. Clarinda will confront a Falcons team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Glenwood (Glenwood, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 8-12.

With the loss, Kuemper moves to 12-9 on the season. The Knights travel to Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA) to confront the Monarchs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 25. The Monarchs come into the battle with a record of 10-14. Denison-Schleswig won 14-2 in their recent league battle against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA)
