In Monday's non-league match, the visiting St. Ansgar Saints softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Rockford Warriors.

The Saints (20-6) will now prepare for their match against Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA). The Vikings come into the Top of Iowa-East match with a 4-13 record. In their last match, Northwood-Kensett was routed by Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA), 6-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) in a Top of Iowa-East match, on Wednesday, June 26. Rockford will attempt to better on its 5-15 season record. The Bearcats come into the match with a 4-17 record after their 11-1 league loss to West Fork (Sheffield, IA).
