The Albia Blue Demons baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets to 2 in the Blue Demons league win on Tuesday.

The Blue Demons now own a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarke for a South Central test on Thursday, June 26. Albia will play a Indians team coming off a 6-4 league win over Chariton (Chariton, IA). The Indians record now stands at 7-17.

With the defeat, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont drops to 3-19 on the year. The Rockets travel to Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA) to play the Trojans in a non-league test on Wednesday, June 25. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 19-1. Pleasantville lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Pella Christian (Pella, IA)
