The Chariton Chargers softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Knoxville Panthers to 0 in the Chargers league win on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Decatur for a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 25. Chariton will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Murray (Murray, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Knoxville moves to 1-14 on the season. The Panthers travel to Davis County (Bloomfield, IA) to confront the Mustangs in a South Central battle on Thursday, June 26. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 11-7.
