In Tuesday's league test, the Iowa City Little Hawks (Iowa City, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA), by a tally of 13-2.
Next, the Little Hawks clash with the Xavier Saints (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, June 26. Iowa City will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record.
The Wahawks (12-15) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Cougars go into the Mississippi Valley - Valley test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Kennedy prevailed over Ankeny (Ankeny, IA), 14-0, in a non-league test.
