The Turkey Valley Trojans got by the visiting St. Ansgar Saints softball squad by a count of 13-12 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the West Central Blue Devils (Maynard, IA) in a Upper Iowa challenge, on Wednesday, June 25. Turkey Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-18 season record. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 13-1 league win over Postville (Postville, IA).

The Saints (5-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA). The Huskies go into the Top of Iowa-East challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, Nashua-Plainfield held off Rockford (Rockford, IA), 8-1, in a league challenge.
