In Tuesday's league bout, the Akron-Westfield Westerners (Akron, IA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gehlen Catholic Jays (Le Mars, IA), by a tally of 12-0.

Next up, the Westerners encounter the Lawton-Bronson Eagles (Lawton, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, June 25. Akron-Westfield will attempt to upgrade on its 18-2 season record.
