The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) and the host English Valleys Bears (North English, IA), saw B-G-M's baseball team gain a win over English Valleys by a tally of 22-2.

The Bears (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Savages enter the South Iowa Cedar battle with a 17-1 record. In their last battle, Sigourney prevailed over Montezuma (Montezuma, IA), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bears face the H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar battle, on Friday, June 27. English Valleys will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 4-9 record after their 12-8 league win over Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA).
