The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Iowa Valley Tigers (Marengo, IA) and the host Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA), observed Iowa Valley's softball team prevail over Belle Plaine by a tally of 11-0.

The Tigers (6-10) will now prepare for their bout against Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA). The Hawks go into the South Iowa Cedar bout with a 7-12 record. In their last bout, Lynnville-Sully was routed by Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA), 11-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Plainsmen clash with the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Friday, June 27. Belle Plaine will attempt to advance on its 0-22 season record. The Tigerhawks go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 7-2 league loss to North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA).
