The Davenport North Wildcats triumphed over the host West Burlington Falcons softball squad by a count of 16-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats play the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a Mississippi Athletic challenge, on Thursday, June 26. Davenport North will attempt to upgrade on its 9-15 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 19-6 record after their 14-3 league win over Davenport West (Davenport, IA).
The Falcons (14-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last match, Mediapolis gained a win over Pekin (Packwood, IA), 9-1, in a non-league match.
