Iowa High School Softball - Grinnell bounces West Delaware

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Grinnell Tigers softball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the West Delaware Hawks.
The Tigers (20-4) will now prepare for their match against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 19-2 record. In their last match, Prairie City-Monroe tipped South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 11-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, June 26. West Delaware will attempt to better on its 16-9 season record. The Trojans go into the match with a 1-17 record after their 15-2 league loss to Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA).
