In Wednesday's league match, the host Oskaloosa Indians softball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Pella Christian Eagles.
The Indians (10-17) will now prepare for their match against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Warriors go into the Little Hawkeye match with a 25-3 record. In their last match, Norwalk tipped Indianola (Indianola, IA), 6-5, in a league match.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, June 26. Pella Christian will attempt to better on its 8-15 season record. The Mustangs go into the match with a 19-2 record after their 11-1 league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA).
