Iowa High School Softball - Prairie City-Monroe bounces South Hamilton

June 25, 2025: Jewell, IA 50130

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs softball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the South Hamilton Hawks.

The Mustangs (19-2) will now prepare for their match against Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 8-15 record. In their last match, Pella Christian was routed by Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA), 1-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) in a Heart of Iowa match, on Thursday, June 26. South Hamilton will attempt to better on its 7-17 season record. The Trojans go into the match with a 15-8 record after their 7-2 league win over Roland-Story (Story City, IA).
