In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Algona Bulldogs baseball team scored a nice 17-7 victory over the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets.
The Bulldogs (12-14) will now prepare for their game against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 9-12 record. In their last game, Pocahontas overcame Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA), 9-8, in a non-league game.
The Cadets (4-14) will now prepare for their game against Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Lynx go into the non-league game with a 13-14 record. In their last game, Webster City overcame Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA), 4-3, in a non-league game.
