In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks baseball team scored a nice 19-4 victory over the Crestwood Cadets.
The Go-Hawks (18-10) will now prepare for their game against Denver (Denver, IA). The Cyclones go into the non-league game with a 4-22 record. In their last game, Denver overcame Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Cadets (3-20) will now prepare for their game against Osage (Osage, IA). The Green Devils go into the non-league game with a 14-11 record. In their last game, Osage overcame Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA), 12-2, in a non-league game.
