The Denison-Schleswig Monarchs the host Red Oak Tigers softball squad by a final score of 12-8 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Monarchs (16-14) will now prepare for their battle against Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 13-15 record. In their last battle, Kuemper was routed by Clarinda (Clarinda, IA), 10-6, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 3-21 record. They play next when they travel to East Mills for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 27. Red Oak will meet a squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA). The record now stands at 4-11.
