With the triumph, Alburnett moves its record to 23-9 on the season. The Pirates host Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Thursday, June 27. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 17-5. Mediapolis won 6-2 in their recent non-league contest against West Branch (West Branch, IA)

The Knights now possess a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tipton for a non-league contest on Monday, July 1. North Cedar will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 17-3 non-league win over Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-19.
