The Highland Huskies baseball squad (Riverside, IA), 8-5 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA)
With the triumph, B-G-M moves its record to 15-6 on the season. The Bears travel to Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA) to confront the Tigerhawks in a South Iowa Cedar contest on Friday, June 28. The Tigerhawks come into the contest with a record of 8-10. Colfax-Mingo lost 20-19 in their recent non-league contest against BCLUW (Conrad, IA)
The Huskies now possess a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winfield-Mt. Union for a SE IA Super - North contest on Thursday, June 27. Highland will confront a Wolves squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Wolves record now stands at 7-10.
