In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears baseball team scored a nice 13-2 victory over the West Hancock Eagles.
The Golden Bears (18-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA). The Gaels enter the non-league game with a 6-10 record. In their last game, St. Edmond was overwhelmed by Humboldt (Humboldt, IA), 15-2, in a non-league contest.
The Eagles now possess a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Emmetsburg for a non-league contest on Thursday, June 27. West Hancock will confront a E'Hawks squad coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Northwest Webster (Manson, IA). The E'Hawks record now stands at 11-7.
