In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting North Polk Comets softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Boone Toreadors.

The Comets (29-3) will now prepare for their match against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA). The Maroons come into the non-league match with a 11-10 record. In their last match, Dowling Catholic notched a victory over Clarke (Osceola, IA), 12-2, in a non-league match.
