In Wednesday's league test, the North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA), by a count of 13-2.

Next, the meet the New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, June 27. North Fayette Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 12-13 season record. The Chickasaws go into the test with a 10-9 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Charles City (Charles City, IA).

The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their test against South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA). The Warriors go into the Upper Iowa test with a 16-11 record. In their last test, South Winneshiek toppled Oelwein (Oelwein, IA), 5-4, in a non-league test.
