The Woodbine Tigers triumphed over the host Glidden-Ralston Wildcats softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders (Coon Rapids, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, June 28. Woodbine will attempt to upgrade on its 16-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Audubon (Audubon, IA).

The Wildcats (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Ar-We-Va overcame Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA), 5-3, in a non-league challenge.
