Iowa High School Softball - Webster City bounces Iowa Falls-Alden

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Webster City Lynx softball team scored a nice 8-0 win over the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets.
The Lynx (14-8) will now prepare for their match against Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Eagle Grove was routed by North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA), 7-6, in a league match.
In their next game, the Cadets battle the Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, June 28. Iowa Falls-Alden will attempt to better on its 7-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 10-16 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA).
