The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) and the visiting Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA), observed Glenwood's softball team get by Shenandoah by a tally of 3-2.

The Rams (11-16) will now prepare for their bout against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 19-2 record. In their last bout, Prairie City-Monroe tipped South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 11-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) in a Hawkeye 10 bout, on Friday, June 27. Shenandoah will attempt to advance on its 7-14 season record. The Cyclones go into the bout with a 2-18 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA).
