North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Bison now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Hancock for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 30. North Iowa will face a Eagles squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-18.

With the loss, Lake Mills falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Forest City (Forest City, IA) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 28. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 3-12. Forest City lost 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA)
